Chris Edmunds: guitarist and banjo player, as well as the founder of the
local traditional jazz band the New Orleans Moonshiners. Edmunds recently played with the Moonshiners in New York City at Lincoln Center in July. The Moonshiners' latest CD, "I'm Comin' Home," was nominated by Offbeat Magazine as Best Traditional Jazz Album of 2010. He can be seen playing all around town with various bands, including the Moonshiners, weekly Thursday night at the Spotted Cat on Frenchmen St, and every Sunday at Commander's Palace's Jazz Brunch with the Joe Simon Trio. |

Marisa Spengeman: harpist. Marisa is a tenth grader at Benjamin Franklin High School, has studied the harp for 11 years and has played with the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra and in other ensembles. She is also the daughter of a TBI survivor. We are delighted to have her back for a return performance. |

The Half-Last Straws: Featuring Bobby McIntyre, Joan Pizzolato, Bill Lee,
and Mizie Licciardi. Bobby and Bill are original members of The Last
Straws (2 of 3 survivors) dating from 1957, recently joined by the two ladies.
Playing drums, banjo, soprano sax and piano respectively, “We play at
Weddings, wakes and at all the fancy balls, we’re McIntyre’s band!” |

New Orleans Celtic Harp Ensemble: A group of harpists who are dedicated to the promotion of the harp, as well as Celtic culture in Louisiana. Featuring: Patrice Fisher, Ivonne Douma, Eyler Coates Jr., Sandy Hughes, Phyllis Waring and Molly Wiggins. We are delighted to have them back for an encore performance. |
