We are now taking advance ticket orders for guided tours on Friday, March 12, 2010 and the self-guided tours on Saturday, March 13, 2010.

Private, Guided Tours

Tickets for the Exclusive, Private Tours Led by Participating Landscape and Design Experts on Friday, March 12, 2010. Tours are at 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30 & 11AM.

Private ticket holders are granted complimentary admission to the Self Guided Tour on the 13th.

We are pleased to offer a limited number of private tours to meet with landscape and design professionals whose gardens are showcased on The Secret Gardens Tour©2010. The tour groups will consist of approximately 15 people plus the guide and will start at 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30 or 11 a.m. with the last tour group leaving at 11 a.m.

We expect the private tours to take about an hour and a half, but could last as long as two hours depending upon each group’s interest in the gardens and the length of time spent asking questions, lingering in the gardens and walking to each garden. Tour-goers will meet at 6300 St. Charles Avenue twenty minutes before for their designated tour group time. The tour is 14 blocks long not including the detour to Bird Island. Tickets for the private tour are limited and will be sold in advance for $60 each and must be purchased by Noon of Thursday, March 11th. Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets in advance for $50 each. As a bonus, private ticket holders are also granted complimentary admission to the self-guided Tour on Saturday, March 13th.

Self Guided Tours

Tickets for the Self-Guided Tour on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets for the self-guided tour are $25 each if purchased online by noon, Thursday, March 11th.  Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets in advance for $20 each.  Depress the “Buy now” button to charge your tickets using our PayPal system. You may pick up your tickets on the day of the tour at the “Will Call” table at 6300 St. Charles Avenue or on Pitt Street between Calhoun Street and Exposition Boulevard. Just give the volunteer your name and a form of identification to receive your tickets purchased online.

Tickets may be purchased on Saturday for $30 each. Children under five years old may attend for free. Ticket sales end at noon on March 11th.

Cancellations
If the tour is cancelled due to rain, please consider your ticket a donation.

Funds raised from the tour will be used for educational and charitable purposes to benefit brain injury recovery. We welcome any additional donations or sponsorship.
